Drone State

Characters receive Drone Damage from different items and interactions in the Hive. A characters Drone Damage represents the cumulative damage they have received towards entering a Drone State and the influence the Hive has begun to integrate into the character. High drone damage increases the risk of Critical Drone Failure and Critical Drone Success. Drone Damage is a component of all Dice Pools a character may need to construct.

Every time a character enters Drone State (the moment willpower drops below drone damage) they mark one permanent damage next to their drone damage. That drone damage may not be healed without external assistance to the squad (see: Operational Assets).
